Wow this week is a special one. The kind folks at Craft A Brew sent us one of their Catalyst Fermentation Systems. Its an affordable plastic conical fermentor. The main feature is the 3-inch butterfly valve that lets you collect kettle trub preferment or collect yeast post ferment for re-pitching later. I would think the re-pitch savings alone could pay for a Catalyst. It's a cool piece of kit that I have been excited about for a while... AND now we have one to review.
Future vids we will do a fill and show the some active fermentation in it. Then we will also do a yeast collection vid with it too.
